Leicester brothers Andy and James Stone who form the Lusts project have just this week unveiled their debut single. 'Temptation' (b/w 'Cross') is available via digital download now, and on 7" via 1965 Records on March 2.
With the ubiquitous MJ of Hookworms lending a hand on mixing duties, 'Temptation' draws echoes of 80s influences in it's classic woozy chorus and reverb-filled guitars the kind Echo and the Bunnymen would delight in, and the shimmery synths new wave pop sensibilities of the likes of Beach Fossils.
They play London's Birthdays on January 27 - for what will be only their second-ever live show - before heading out with Coves in March.
